The PR540 has three test wells for inserting more than one probe at a time. All three wells are stable to ±0.005 °C. One well accommodates changeable inserts for varying probe diameters.
The PR540 uses a reinforced semiconductor cooling technology with a peak cooling rate of up to 6℃ / minute.
It can stabilize to 0℃ at the room temperature for only 10 minutes.
